Friends of Shavington Primary School

The Friends of Shavington Primary School (FOSPS) is a welcoming group of parents who work together to support our school community. By organising events, fundraising, and creating opportunities for families to connect, we help enrich our children's school experience and strengthen the link between parents, staff and pupils.

What we do

Throughout the year, FOSPS organises a variety of much-loved events, including:

Autumn term highlights:

  • Fireworks Night
  • Smarties Challenge
  • Christmas Cards
  • Christmas Fayre
  • Christmas Disco

Spring term highlights:

  • Easter Bingo

Summer term highlights:

  • Silent Disco
  • Summer Fayre - Friday 3rd July 15:45 to 18:00 on the school field

These events not only raise valuable funds but also create fun, memorable experiences for our children and families.

How your support helps

All money raised by FOSPS goes directly back into school projects that benefit the children. This year, we have funded:

  • Playground equipment to support the OPAL project
  • Athletics equipment
  • New iPads for Key Stage 2

Every contribution - big or small - makes a real difference.

Get Involved

We're always delighted to welcome new volunteers. Whether you can help regularly, or just lend a hand occasionally, your support is hugely appreciated. New and familiar faces are always welcome!

If you'd like to find out more or get involved, please leave your details at the school office or email fosps@shavingtonprimary.co.uk
