Last week, our year 5/6 netball team took part in the Crewe and Nantwich finals following a great qualifying session at Shavington Academy a few weeks ago.

An initial defeat and a defeat in the last game was enough to make use finish second in the standings. We had a flurry of good, hard fought wins in the middle where the children showed good spirit to sometimes work hard together to come from behind.

They were obviously very disappointed not to progress to the county finals but they played the game with such great sportsmanship.

It was a great effort and a fantastic qualifying campaign! We are very thankful to the team for representing our school so brilliantly.
