The School Day
The school day is as follows:
The school day starts at 8.50am and finishes at 3.25pm for Reception and KS1 and 3.30pm for KS2. The children are asked to line up in their year groups on the bottom playground where they will be collected by their class teacher who will take the children into school. If a parent needs to speak with a member of staff to briefly inform them this can be done in the morning, alternatively parents/carers can arrange a more convenient time to meet with staff after school.
The children follow the National Curriculum during the school day. They have Numeracy and Literacy lessons every day in the morning and follow a topic based approach for the afternoon sessions.
Currently the children have a morning and an afternoon playtime and a lunchtime of an hour.
The latest version of the whole school timetable is available for you to download from this page. Each class teacher is able to decide on the subjects and activities that they deliver in the afternoon sessions. If you want more specific details of what your child is doing then please check their class page on this website or speak to them directly.
