Our spelling focus for Grammar this week isthe suffixes ‘–sion’ and ‘–ssion’.

 

‘-ssion’ is used when the root wood ends in ss or mit

‘-sion’ is used when the root word ends in d or se

  2. invasion
  3. possession
  4. omission
  5. expansion
  6. comprehension
  7. transmission
  8. emission
  9. extension
