The children have P.E lessons every Friday. The children are able to come into school in their PE kit on Friday and wear this throughout the day. Please bring jumpers and trousers for colder days.
The children have their own School water bottle which they have access to all day. Each Friday the children will bring these home for them to be rinsed although the water bottles don't like dish washers because they melt them. These water bottles must then be returned on Monday.
Your child needs to have their book bag in School everyday to ensure we can change their book regularly, send activities home to support your child's learning and communicate events and information. Children's books will be changed once a week on their reading day when they will receive two new books.
We hope you have all had a great Christmas and are looking forward the new year. This term our topic is going to be focusing on 'Our favourite stories.' We will start off by looking at traditional tales, re-telling these stories through drama using the repetitive language in these stories. The children will also have an opportunity to bring in their favourite story from home and share these with their friends. We have planned many interesting activities both indoors and outdoors based on this theme. To see some of these activities look at our medium term planning below.
Remember to look on Tapestry and our class blog to see some of the amazing things we are getting up to!
