Welcome to our Autumn Term!
This term's topic is All About Me. We're going to be looking at who we are, where we live, who we love and what we can do! We welcome any photos from home.
We'll be settling in this term, learning the routine. We are looking to build new friends, explore new areas and build our confidence. We'll be beginning our sound time, working on our hand muscles and practicing our counting. Friday mornings we have the hall for PE, so please send your children in comfy clothes they can move around in.
If you ever want a chat about your child, either to share news or ask questions, catch Miss Wilks in the morning at drop off or ask for a longer chat after school. We also have a parent's evening this term and Stay and Plays.
About our Nursery:
Our nursery class is a teacher-led environment in a bright open-plan space aimed at children aged 3-4. The nursery class room is set up for learning through play, with a home corner, small world toys, an under the sea reading garden, block play, sensory area, mark making, number area, creative area and a playdough kitchen.
Nursery class is led by a Teacher and four Early Years Assistants. Children are encouraged to participate in a range of stimulating, fun learning activities to prepare them for school including phonics, sounds time, pencil control, group activities and much much more. Our Nursery Class ensures that every child gains the most from their nursery experience and helps make their journey into reception an easy and happy one.
