Year 6 11.11.16

Date: 11th Nov 2016 @ 8:48pm

We have spent time thinking about Remembrance Day and the reason why we have it, why we stop to think and why we wear poppies as a symbol of respect for all of the service men and women that have died in battle for us.

We have made some poppies which we displayed outside the KS2 area. During our minutes silence we thought about what messages we could give to the soldiers that are no longer with us or any family members or friends we have that were soldiers in wars. We then wrote a message on the leaf of our poppy.

Here are some photos.
