week beginning 3.10.16

Date: 9th Oct 2016 @ 7:16pm

We have had a great few weeks. In maths we have been working really hard, looking at numbers and thinking about one more than and one less than. We have also been counting in our twos and jumping like kangaroos outside to help us. We have also started doing some addition number sentences. In English we have been reading more fairy tales and practicing how they start and how they finish as well as thinking about our finger spaces and how to start and finish a sentence. Some of use have also been baking bear cakes- they taste delicious and remind us of the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. In topic we have been investigating different materials and how to identify and describe them. As well as thinking about what are physical and human features of the landscape around us.
