Week Beginning 28th November

The Christmas Festivities are in full flow this week and we are all very excited! Our classroom has been decorated with Christmas trees, tinsel and a singing reindeer! Although it doesn't stop there as Santa has even set up his own workshop in our Role Play Area! We've been super busy desigining toys, writing cards and wrapping presents to help Santa get ready for Christmas. We have also been getting warpped up warm to explore our Winter Wonderland and Role Play Barn outside. We have had great fun snuggling up in the igloo writing about how cold it is and have been taking on different roles in our barn to act out The Nativity.

We were so busy it was Thursday before we knew it and we were climbing aboard the coach to go on our class trip to The Reindeer Lodge! We had the most magical time meeting Santa, his elves and his reindeers.

The elves welcomed us with a show and they were very funny! They were always getting in a muddle and needed our help to make a band. Some of us were super brave and got up on stage and played some instruments. Santa was so impressed that he came to see us and gave us a present too! We then went to see his reindeers outside. They were beautiful and we were so sensible lining up to feed them. They didn't have very good table manners as they slobbered all over our hands! After getting cleaned up we then climbed aboard the coach again and headed back to school. Miss Stott, Mrs Earl, Mrs Hurst, Mrs Cooper and Mrs Mills were so super proud of how amazing we were on our School Trip.

We look forward to another busy Christmas themed week!
