Week Beginning 14th March

We have had another exciting week in Reception learning all about the story Superworm. It is one of our favourite stories and we have enjoyed lots of different worm themed activities!

In Literacy we have been writing our own Superworm story. We had some fabulous ideas about what might happen on Superworm's next adventure and Miss Stott was super impresed by how imaginative we are! In Maths we have been solving mini beast problems by counting on in order to make sure they have the correct number of legs.

Although the fun doesn't stop there! Later on in the week we went outside to find Superworm! The children worked so hard digging big holes to try and find Superworm and their efforts were rewarded as they found not one but lots and lots of Superworms! We have created a really big wormery for all our worms so we can see what they are getting up to in class.

We are looking forward to another lovely but busy week together!
