Week beginning 14/3/16

Date: 20th Mar 2016 @ 4:37pm

The highlight of the week this week has been the eruption of our craft volcanoes. We were originally going to erupt them next week but we impressed Miss Willington so much with our literacy work that we had a special treat and erupted them early. Have a look at the photos to see the building and erupting of our volcanoes!

The literacy work that Miss WIllington loved so much was our persuasive letter writing techniques in order to free Lalchand from the King. We planned, edited and drafted a letter to the King asking him to set Lila's father free. Miss Willington pretended to be the King and she decided to free Lalchand on most occasions, but sometimes we took a class 'courtier' vote and we made the decision too!

In maths, we have looked again at time. It is a really difficult concept to grasp, but we tried really hard and showed resilience. We looked at digital (12hr) and analogue clocks. We did really well, but any help on this at home would be great!

There is some MyMaths homework this week.
