What a super busy week we have had! In English, we have been exploring how the major Hollywood Actors and Actresses get themselves prepared for their Blockbuster roles. We used some famous scenes from 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' and thought carefully about how to project our voice using tone, volume and expression. We then went onto looking at how play-scripts are written and interpreting our own versions, based on a chocolate wonderland!

In Maths, our focus for this week has been properties of 3D shapes. We have been recognising a range of 3D shapes using their 3D and 2D net represenations and have even had a go at constructing our own and sorting using a Carroll Diagram. As the weather has been so kind to us this week, we have managed to enjoy lots of lessons outside in the sunshine.

As it is SAT's for the Year 6's next week, we will be learning in the Key Stage One Hall. We will be using this time as an 'Achievement Week' so we shall also be having some assessments. This helps us to monitor our progress and see areas where we are confident and areas for improvement.

Have  a fantastic weekend and enjoy the sunshine!
