Three little pigs STEM afternoon

Date: 8th Nov 2018 @ 9:13pm

This afternoon the children had to pretend that they were the three little pigs and they had to build three houses that would withstand the huffs and puffs of the Big Bad Wolf!   Some children built their houses from straw.  Some used sticks that we collected from the playground and other children used Lego bricks.  Just like the fairy tale, it was the house made of Lego bricks that didn’t fall down when the Big Bad Wolf blew the houses.   Mrs Rivers used a hair dryer to test the strength of the houses.  It was great fun and we made a big mess in the classroom!  There was straw all over the carpet!
