Happy Half-Term

Date: 21st Oct 2016 @ 4:59pm

This week we have been using our persuasive language and trying to encourage people that it would change their life becoming a Viking! We then made leaflets and made them look appealing using appropriate features. In Maths, we have looking at how we can apply our skills to real life contexts, such as using rounding to estimate the price when shopping or using addition and subtraction with money when booking a holiday (these skills may come in handy for your parents!).

We had a great time at the Halloween Disco, well done to Evie for winning "Best Dressed Costume"!

Year 5 have well and truly earned their half term break, as has Mrs Mills and myself! I hope that you have a relaxed and enjoyable break and come back refreshed and ready to learn! Stay safe over half term and I look forward to seeing you in November.
