Anti-Bullying Week 14.11.16

Date: 18th Nov 2016 @ 4:27pm

As this week has been Anti-Bullying week, with the focus 'Power for Good', we have done lots of activities around bullying and developing ways to prevent it from happening to ourselves or others. We produced comic strips showing scenarios of how people can use their power for good to help others and make them happy. In English, we have been looking at features of poetry and are building up to write our own narrative poem about a naughty dragon! Hopefully we won't get one appearing in school as some of the children have written that they pick teachers up and fly away with them! In Maths, we changed roles and became criminal investigators. We had to crack the codes and find out the different clues to solve the mystery - we all suceeded!

We had lots of fun for Children in Need and raised lots of money through cake sales and our donations. We then took part in our Winter Walk around Shavington and managed to brave the weather, it was chilly but we all enjoyed it!
